Where You Are

Your Stats + Goals

You've hit the Day 14 milestone. That means organic people who don't know you are finding your content, stopping on it, and commenting. That's what the first two weeks were designed to produce. You're at 1,500 followers and the goal this week is 2,000 by August 11.

How you get to 2,000 this week

Your Virgo content has already proven it can take off. Post 1-2 Virgo videos per day this week. That's the primary lever. Everything else is secondary to that number right now.

What you've confirmed this week

You're using trial reels before posting. You're applying feedback the same day. You're asking before posting major content. You're showing up every day. These habits are the foundation that everything else is built on. Keep them.

Where You Are

What's Working

These are the things you should keep doing exactly as you're doing them, or do more of.

+
Virgo content
One video took off. This is your proven format right now. The facts structure, the Virgo-coded identity angle, the astrology topic: this is what's pulling in strangers who don't already know you. Spam it this week. 1-2 per day.
+
"Tell me I'm not the only one who does this" format
Your video using a personal reference to yourself got more organic comments than your other content. That's the signal: when you make it personal to your own experience first, people connect and comment. More of this in your MOFU content going forward.
+
Daily posting consistency
You've shown up every day. This is the most important non-content thing happening right now. Don't break the streak.
+
Using the Edits app
Already seeing it on your posts. Instagram rewards content made with their own tools. Keep using Edits as your primary editor.
+
Your topic selection is strong
The hack video content, the lease red flags content, the Virgo content: these are the right topics. The information you're choosing to share is right. The execution is just what we're dialing in this phase.

Your Foundation

Your Audience

This is who you're talking to every time you hit record. Read this before writing a hook. If a video doesn't speak to this person, it's the wrong video.

Who she is

28-38, corporate working woman. Paralegal, administrator, or managing professional. Mom or managing a full household. Natural hair, braids, or bonnet at home. Iced coffee or tea. School drop-offs before stepping straight into work mode. Giving 100% to her job and her family while her own goals stay on the list.

When she scrolls

Early morning before the house wakes up. Lunch break at her desk. Late at night in bed after finally taking off her day. She's not looking for flex culture or fake-polished perfection. She wants proof that a regular working woman can build herself without burning out.

The thing she won't say out loud

"I feel like I'm losing myself to my routines and responsibilities, and I'm terrified that I'm letting my best years pass me by without ever becoming the woman I know I'm meant to be." She presents as capable. Inside she's quietly unfulfilled and guilty about it.

What she wants her life to feel like

Grounded, intentional, vibrant. Waking up energized. Confident in her skin. A good day means her workout is done, her body is nourished, work didn't follow her home, and she ends the day feeling proud of something she did for herself.

Why she follows YOU

Because you're building in public and in real time. Not a mega-influencer with a team. Balancing a real life while showing up consistently with warmth and honesty. She feels like she's walking alongside a real friend, not watching a performance.

Astrology angle

Strongly identifies with Virgo, Capricorn, Scorpio, Taurus. She searches: "Virgo personality traits," "why Virgos hold back," "Virgo season energy," "what Virgos need in a reset," "monthly zodiac forecasts for women." This is how she finds you.

Your Foundation

Your Content Rules

These apply to every video you make from here through Day 90. No exceptions.

R
Every video has a job before you record it
TOFU (attract new people), MOFU (build trust with existing followers), or BOFU (move someone toward an action). If you don't know the job before you hit record, you're not ready to record it.
R
Talk about problems in first person, solutions in second person
When the video is about a problem: talk about it as YOUR experience. "I know I get so spread thin that..." Not "you probably feel this way." When you're talking about the solution: switch to "you." "What you can do is..." They connect because they see themselves in you, not because you called out their problem directly. Higher connection.
R
Say "when," not "if"
"When you do this, this will happen for you." Not "if you do this." When assumes they're going to do it. It pushes them toward action. If gives them an out.
R
Cut every gap of silence
0.1 seconds of dead space drops retention. Cut it all. Your delivered speech should flow like a run-on sentence even if you recorded it in pieces. When you speak, it should almost feel like you spoke one continuous thought.
R
Captions on every video, always
Non-negotiable. Some people watch in silence. Captions keep them in the video that audio alone would lose.
R
Leave headspace at the top when recording
Don't fill the whole frame with your body. You need room at the top for text hooks and overlays in the edit. Make this a habit every recording session.
R
Don't read scripts on camera
Use bullet points instead. Know the general flow, then talk naturally. Your information is great. Scripted delivery is what loses people. If you can say it naturally in a voice memo, you can say it naturally on camera.
R
Short videos are TOFU only
You cannot pack educational content into a 15-30 second video. Short videos attract new people. If the content needs explanation, make a separate longer MOFU video for it. Two different videos from the same topic is a content strategy, not extra work.
R
Add a comment CTA to at least 3 videos per week
"Drop your sign in the comments." "Follow if this is you." One CTA per video, never at the start. Comments in the first hour tell Instagram to push the video. Ask for it naturally and move on.

This Week

Adjustments to Apply Now

Every note from the feedback this week, written clearly so you can apply them to every new video going forward.

Text and design

!
One color, one outline, slight shadow only
Three different colors in one text block overstimulates the viewer. Look at how @brittsocialm does it: one accent color for the title, one outline, a slight shadow. That's the ceiling on text complexity. Simple text performs better than decorated text.
!
Body text goes right below your chin, not at the bottom
When your body text sits at the bottom of the frame, it's in the most ignored zone. Move it up to right below your chin. That's where the viewer's eyes naturally land while watching your face. The text and your expression are in the same sightline.
!
White text with a black stroke for body text
Reverse what you've been doing. Not black text with a white outline. White text with a black stroke reads on any background, looks cleaner, and scans in under a second. The title can still have a color accent. Body text: white with black stroke.
!
Color accent on the title only, not every line
The reference from @brittsocialm: she uses color for the title text. It's bold, it's colorful, it draws attention. But it's only on the title. The body text underneath is simple and clean. This is the balance your videos need.

Recording and transitions

!
B-roll: walk for 2 seconds max, then flip to face the camera
Walking for too long before flipping loses the viewer. You have 2 seconds max on the back-walking shot before it becomes dead time. Walk, then flip, then start talking. Keep it moving.
!
Get to the hook faster
On your lease red flags video: great content, but it takes too long to get to the point. The spoken hook needs to land in the first 2-3 seconds. The viewer decides to stay or leave almost immediately. If you're still setting up the topic at 5 seconds, people are already gone.

Delivery

!
Make it personal to you before connecting to the viewer
Instead of: "You probably get spread thin and feel overwhelmed." Try: "I know I get so spread thin that I hear one notification buzz and it knocks me completely out of focus. What I do is..." They don't feel called out. They just see themselves in your experience. That's a higher connection and it got more organic comments.
!
Remake strong topics in different formats
Your "this hack makes life easier" video had great content in a short format. That short version is TOFU. But the same topic can also be a longer MOFU story-time version with personal examples and more depth. One topic becomes two different videos for two different audiences. That's how you stretch your content without making more ideas.
This Week

Your Virgo Content Strategy

One Virgo video already took off. That's the signal. Your goal this week is 2,000 followers. The Virgo content is how you get there. Post 1-2 per day. Keep the facts format that's working, and start testing hooks.

How to test hooks

Before posting a Virgo video, record 2-3 different opening lines for the same video. Post each as a trial reel. Wait 24 hours. Whichever version has the most views is the hook that works. Post that version as your main video. Then use that hook structure for the next 5 Virgo videos you make.

Three hook variations to test this week:

Hook A: "3 things about Virgos that nobody talks about." (Curiosity gap)
Hook B: "If you're a Virgo woman and you've ever been called too much, watch this." (Identity call-out)
Hook C: "Virgos don't go quiet because they're mad. Let me explain what's actually happening." (Pattern interrupt)

Post all three as trial reels. Pick the one with the most 24-hour views. That's your main post and your new hook formula.

The monthly sweep (your Day 30 play)

Once the daily Virgo format is dialed in, you're going to start a monthly series: one short video per sign, 12 total per month. What [sign] women can expect this month. Virgo is always the most personal. The other 11 are research-based and warm. This builds a cross-sign audience that comes back every single month to see their video.

This Week

Week 2 Focus (Days 8-14)

1
Post 1-2 Virgo videos per day
Your main driver to 2,000. Make them, test the hook on trial reels, post the winner.
2
Apply the text fixes to all new videos
White body text with black stroke. One color accent on the title only. Body text sits below the chin. Leave headspace at the top of your frame when recording.
3
Rebuild your pinned carousel using one of the prompts below
Pick a layout style. Run the prompt in Claude or ChatGPT. Send the output to Verse for review before posting. Do not post until he's seen it.
4
Pick a bio from the options you were sent
Read each one out loud. The one you can say without stopping is the one. Update your bio before Friday's call.
5
Fill out the ICP worksheet if you haven't sent it back yet
The more specific you are about your audience, the better your hooks will land. Return it to Verse before the next call.

Your Resources

TOFU Vault (19 Reference Reels)

These are for you to study, not just watch. For each video, ask yourself: what did the creator say in the first 3 seconds that made you stop? What structure did they use? What made you feel something? Then take the structure, not the content, and apply it to your own videos.

Your Roadmap

Your 60-Day Phase Plan

Days 61-90 is running the system you build here. Your only job between now and Day 60 is to build that system one phase at a time.

Days 1-14
The Foundation Done
Audit done, bio updated, ICP locked, vault studied, first content live, organic stranger engagement confirmed.
Days 15-30
The Voice Now
Hook stacking applied to every video. On-camera coaching. DM scripts installed. Virgo content running daily. Posting rhythm locked.
Days 31-60
The System
Full 3-tier funnel running. 30-day content calendar delivered. Astrology monthly sweep starts. Batch recording. Journal product seeding begins around Day 40.
Your content ratio starting Day 15

5 attract (TOFU) for every 3 nurture (MOFU) for every 2 convert (BOFU) per 10 posts. Right now you are naturally TOFU-heavy because you're in growth mode. That is correct. BOFU content stays at max 2 videos per week or it stops working.

Your funnel, defined simply:

T
TOFU (attract) - 50% of your content
Gets new people on your page. Virgo facts, B-roll with a text overlay, relatable moments, astrology content. No selling, no deep personal story. Just making strangers stop and follow.
M
MOFU (nurture) - 30% of your content
Builds trust with people already following you. Your real story. A vulnerable moment. A personal experience. The "tell me I'm not the only one who does this" format. Who you actually are, not just what you cover.
B
BOFU (convert) - 20% of your content
Moves people toward an action. Follow me. Check out the journal. DM me. A follow CTA counts as BOFU. Max 2 per week right now or it loses impact.
